This is the Fujimi 1/72 OA-4M bought 2 years ago.

Finally its time to start on this kit to support Plamo non-gunpla first groupd build :)

 

 

 

The tail section and exhaust would need some work.. the plastic is too thin at the edges also.

On with the kit..

Lots of elbow grease in the masking to fix some of the fitting problem of the kit..

My fingers are now numb...

 

The intake piece doesn't line up with the body properly..

I have to sand away part of the front 'intake' piece to align the body.

 

Same goes for the bottom of the plane.

The nose piece does not align to the body. I use super glue gel and putty to fill up the gap.

 

After about 1.5 hours of sanding....

Using a set of Escapac Ejection Seats I got from ScaleNutz

+

extra detailing using copper and steel wires

 

The side of the seats need to be filed to fit into the cockpit...

Err... didn't manged to find reference pics for the canopy connecting area.. so... err... its 'made up'

 

Preshaded wth Tamiya Dark Grey.

3 tone grey applied using Mr Colour 338,307,308 and gloss coated for decals.
